At this size the supporting decisions matter as much as the basin — plan generous decks, a solid heat source and an automatic cover from day one, because every square metre of water is heated, treated and covered.
The figure 8 pinches its waist between two round lobes, giving a soft, playful outline with genuinely separate zones: a bigger lobe for swimming and splashing, a smaller one for steps, kids or a spa corner. The narrow waist is also the natural place for a handrail or a divider net.
